丹尼尔·李布斯金（Daniel Libesdind），犹太裔波兰人，1946年生于波兰中部的罗兹，父母是大屠杀的幸存者。1957年举家迁往以色列，1959年定居美国纽约。从小音乐造诣颇高，擅长演奏手风琴。后来立志成为建筑师。建筑作品遍布世界各地，有柏林犹太博物馆、奥斯纳布吕克的努斯鲍姆美术馆、曼彻斯特帝国战争博物馆、丹佛美术馆、多伦多皇家博物馆；进行中的博物馆兴建方案有旧金山当代犹太博物馆等；在瑞士、意大利、德国、英国都有文化及商业设计项目。1990年创立李布斯金工作室（Studio Daniel Libeskind），并担任首席设计师。2003年2月获选为纽约世界贸易中心重建项目的总体规划建筑师。
